Who they are

Millie was born with a Cystinosis, rare condition affecting her kidneys, bones, eyes and later on in life, other organs.

Cystinosis is a genetic metabolic condition that affects around 3,000 people across the world. Cysteine is protein and with Cysteinosis this builds up in the body. For Millie this has led to having two kidney transplants and during times of illness and treatment, make up has been a form of art therapy for her to express herself and explore her and creativity.

Their innovative products are tested by people with a range of disabilities, to make sure they actually work. They look at both the content of our products and their packaging to make sure they’re high quality and easy to use. Products can be applied vertically and horizontally so they can be used by people with mobility issues. And QR codes on the product packaging lead to videos with detailed descriptions of colours for blind or partially sighted people.
