Who they are

Joseph Difrancisco worked as an occupational therapist before launch Friendly Shoes in X. In his everyday work he fund that many of his patients had difficulty putting on and taking off their shoes. He explored why shoes are so difficult to put on, why they lacked support or just didn’t look good.

In 2019 Joseph launched Friendly Shoes as his passion was to make wearing shoes easier for everyone. Their goal is to create comfortable, functional, and stylish shoes allowing anyone to put on and take off easily. We are inspired by people of all ages who overcome adaptive challenges to live and move and they want to ensure that no one is left behind.

Grounded in clinical experience and family values, and with craftsmanship centred in their business Friendly Shoes make independence and mobility easier for all abilities.
