Adapted Trends Clothing
A range of adaptive trousers for adults and children.
At Adapted Trends we found something truly special at Naidex 2025 that perfectly aligns with the mission of Never Grey.
We were immediately struck by their trousers; adaptive, accessible and genuinely stylish. That early encounter sparked our decision to showcase Adapted Trends on Never Grey, and here’s why. Accessibility meets fashion.
Adapted Trends’ core belief is: “What we wear is a reflection of our personality … We want our clothes to stand out for being accessible and functional for people who do not just want to ‘make do’ with what is currently available.” That statement resonates deeply with our own ethos at Never Grey, where we believe nothing about style should be compromised including for people with disabilities.
Their signature adaptive cargo trousers include features like a fully-opening front zip from waistband to ankle (for ease when seated or lying down) and drawstring cuffs wide enough to accommodate prosthetics or splints.
As an orthotic wearer I can appreciate this challenge whilst buying trousers. These are not afterthoughts, they’re built with real life in mind. But crucially, the look is fashion-forward; you wouldn’t assume they’re “adaptive wear” from the outside they just look like the kind of quality trousers people want to wear.
Why we at Never Grey featured them
- Mission alignment – At Never Grey we’re about spotlighting brands that challenge the notion that disability or difference means limiting your wardrobe. Adapted Trends does exactly that: they build clothes with full functionality and full style.
- Fashion with dignity – The adaptive trousers by Adapted Trends don’t automatically invoke medical or “special needs only” aesthetics. They carry a mainstream look with thoughtful adaptation. For us, that matters: everyone deserves to feel good, not defined by their adaptation.
- Innovation + inclusivity – The products show how design can be inclusive right out of the box not just as a retrofit. That kind of innovation is something we want to champion. On their site they say they produce “casual clothes that people will talk about” for juniors and adults, wheelchair users and others with different needs.
- Real feedback, real lives – The testimonials speak volumes: a customer says “These trousers are extremely good for changing, less rolling involved.”
- Another: “I love the style and quality of material… so nice to be able to wear something other than tracksuit bottoms!”. That’s empowerment through clothing, exactly the kind of brand we’re proud to highlight.
What this means for our community
By featuring Adapted Trends, Never Grey is helping to raise awareness of adaptive fashion that doesn’t compromise on aesthetics. It means our readers, customers and broader community see that accessibility and style are not at odds, they’re complementary. It means wardrobes that reflect personality rather than just practicality.
Finally, it sends the message to other brands: adapting your product line to be inclusive is not niche, it’s essential. It’s forward-thinking, market-relevant and socially important. In summary
When we first met Adapted Trends at Naidex, the impression was immediate: thoughtful design, real solutions, and fashion credibility. Since then, learning more about their ethos and products, we’ve been convinced they belong in the spotlight of Never Grey.
If you believe that clothing should be as inclusive as it is stylish, then this kind of partnership is exactly why we exist.
We’re proud to feature Adapted Trends because they embody the kind of future we want in fashion: one where no one has to compromise, everyone can express themselves combined with practicality
